Our team takes great pride in fulfilling each order, ensuring you receive the perfect shades and accessories to match your taste and needs as quickly as possible. Here, you’ll find answers to many of your shipping and returns inquiries.
Delivery
Delivery Charges
All orders are subject to a shipping and handling charge that will be calculated at the time the order is place and will depend on the size of the order. In addition, non-stocked custom colors are available for an additional $75 to cover the special order cost and additional shipping and handling charges. This charge is included in the quoted price. All sales of custom color (nonstandard) special order shades are final. Once your order is submitted, it cannot be exchanged or returned.
Delivery Time
Stocked items will be delivered within two to four business days. Non-stocked custom colors will be delivered within 14 business days. Shades for roof windows (models GGU, GPU, GXU and GDL) come directly from Denmark and may be subject to delivery times up to eight weeks.
Delivery Location
Items will be delivered to the address specified during the ordering process.
Status of your Order
A submittal confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided after an order is submitted completely and correctly. Then within two business days of submitting an order, you will receive a second email from VELUX America Inc. confirming availability of stock and notifying you of the correct dollar amount that will be charged to your account after local taxes are calculated and applied and the estimated delivery date. Returns
RETURN POLICY
Standard goods purchased through the VELUX shade shop can be returned within 45 days from the date on the invoice.
No returns will be accepted on special order items such as the custom color options.
No returns or exchanges will be accepted on shades that have been installed or when installation has been attempted.
Orders, which have been accepted but not yet shipped, may be canceled only with prior written consent of VELUX Solutions upon terms that will fully indemnify VELUX Solutions against loss. Products may not be returned without prior authorization. Products may not be returned more than 45 days after date of invoice. Contact VELUX Solutions at 866-358-3589 for return goods authorization before returning any product. A restocking charge equal to 15% of the invoice amount may apply to non-warranty returns. You will be responsible for the freight back on all orders (other than warranty orders) to the VELUX Solutions Distribution Center in Greenwood, South Carolina.
RETURN PROCEDURE
Contact VELUX at 800-888-3589. Upon approval, a return goods authorization number (RGA#) will be provided to reference the products being returned. For all non-warranty items, the customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with sending product back to VELUX America Inc., 450 Old Brickyard Road, Greenwood, SC 29649.
